Contents

There are two primary compounds in weed seeds. CBD, or cannabidiol, is a compound that doesn’t get you high! It is responsible for making you feel relaxed and providing relief from anxiety, depression, stress, pain, etc. On the other hand, THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is a psychotropic compound that alters your mental capabilities. In other words, blame this compound for getting you high!

One needs weed strains with higher CBD and low THC to treat medical conditions. Doctors often prescribe a weed strain that has equal parts CBD and THC. CBD helps kick off the psychotropic effect (euphoria, memory impairment, cognitive and psychomotor functions impairment). Meanwhile, THC helps in the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects produced by CBD.

Here are some popular high-CBD and low THC weed strains with their various medicinal purpose:

1.    Harle-Tsu

This high-CBD weed strain is known to provide relief from pain and anxiety. It is a non-psychoactive strain that contains 20 times more CBD than THC. Further, it has a sweet and herbal flavor compared to pungent high-THC weed strains.

Patients usually consume this weed strain via smoking. Consequently, it takes about 8 weeks for the cannabis strain to flower when grown indoors.

CBD/THC Ratio: 20:1

Treatment: Muscle-relaxant, depression, anxiety, stress, combats cancer; makes an excellent antibacterial, antiviral, and antioxidant medicine.

2.    Suzy Q

Another high-CBD marijuana strain that serves as a relaxant. Further, it reduces muscle spasms and any redness or swelling caused by muscular spasms. Consequently, it takes about 8 to 10 weeks for a Suzy-Q plant to bloom fully.

3.    Charlotte’s Web

Patients usually intake this strain in a topical form – Charlotte’s Web hemp oil. By law, hemp oil should contain less than 0.3% of THC. This weed seeds strain will fully blossom for a grower in 8 to 9 weeks.

CBD/THC Ratio: 30:1
